Sauti za Busara (Swahili for "Sounds of Wisdom") is an African music festival held in Zanzibar, Tanzania, every February. It is centered on the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), with fringe events taking place throughout Stone Town at the same time, including a carnival street parade (Beni). Sauti za Busara has grown to be one of East Africa's largest music festivals, attracting hundreds of artists each year. It presents a diverse and dynamic program of exclusively African music and has provided a platform for local Swahili talent over the years, ranging from Taarab legends like Bi Kidude and Culture Musical Club to Tanzanian pop and hip-hop.
