💫 Mission: Preserve and support the four sea turtle species in Costa Rica: leatherback, green, hawksbill, and olive ridley.
Summary:
The team of 10 took shifts day and night walking up and down the beaches looking for Turtles laying eggs, and when we found them, bringing the eggs back to the protected sanctuary. Then, watching for eggs to hatch, and putting the baby sea turtles in big tubs to take out and release right next to the ocean.
